A Warning ~ her poetry

The lights appear behind her
She tugs at her too short dress
A quick glance in the rearview mirror
Reveals her hair is a mess
He approached her car with caution
No alcohol on her breath
Just mascara-streaked tears
Shame and Loneliness
She’s hit rock bottom, it’s clear to see
Her regrets are longer than the hem of her skirt
He sends her away with a warning
